That being said, I often have strangers come up to me in public to tell me that I’m the fastest iPhone typist they’ve ever seen, so maybe it really is just me. Maybe I’m just the odd man out here, but I see this predictive feature as being more of a hindrance to my speedy typing than anything else. It was even able to predict that I was typing that I didn’t like it! IT EVEN KNOWS IT’S ANNOYING! Take a look… I just can’t see past how annoying it feels. If you Google “quicktype” right now, it seems like a ton of people think this new feature is pretty great. Let’s just say that excitement fell to pieces pretty quickly. We’ve already talked about a ton of the cool new iOS features when we discussed the iPhone 6 unveiling, but now I got to play with these things on my own-how exciting! Much like millions of other iPhone users, today I updated my iPhone 5S to the just-released iOS 8.
